Monday, six p.m.

Rylie sat behind the wheel of her car, working up the courage to knock on the door. All weekend she’d been in turmoil, locked up alone in her apartment while she relived a gamut of emotions over and over. First the white-hot anger at Sullivan, then the horrible embarrassment he’d subjected her to, followed by that nightmare of pain from the hairbrush spanking.
